Owner/operators Ash Cook and Dan Gavin have been in the steel industry for over 20 years. We have a team of approximately 20 staff and handle all stages of the project from our in house draughting to fabrication and painting, to full site erection and on-site welding.
We can process jobs ranging in size from 250kg up to 100 ton.
Canterbury Metalwork started in a small factory in Sydenham over 25 years ago, and now is based in a purpose built facility in Waterloo Park, Islington servicing the Canterbury region. In 2020 we expanded our operations to Wanaka, under the name Alpine Steel to allow us to service the lower South Island
